DAY 01 : ARRIVAL AT KATMANDU (airport)

Rickshaw ride to Thamel: visit from Kathmandu Durbar Square: bazaars, market places, lively evening.

DAY 02 : KATHMANDU

Guided tour of Swayambhunath, the oldest and most enigmatic of the valley's sacred shrines, then Kathmandu Durbar Square: the number one tourist attraction, teeming with life with over 50 monuments. Ride a rickshaw in Thamel.

Guided tour of the city of Patan and its craft center: Patan Durbar Square and its Newari urban architecture: temples dedicated to Shiva, Krishna, Ganesh and Vishnu, the Royal Palace courtyards. Visit of Patan Kumari and the museum of traditional sacred art of Patan.

DAY 03 : KATMANDU - CHITWAN by road (170 km/ 5-6 hrs drive)

Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the remaining Asian jungles: towering trees, rhinos, lumbering elephants, crocodiles, pythons, deer, colorful birds and the presence of the Royal Bengal Tiger. Afternoon: Activities in the jungle according to the program. Dinner and night at the resort.

DAY 04 : CHITWAN

Full day of activities in the jungle according to the program.

DAY 05 : CHITWAN- BANDIPUR (90 km - 3 to 4 hours drive)

Discovery while enjoying the panoramic view of Bandipur, located on a 1000m ridge, and the temples of the surroundings: Bindabasine of the goddess Durga and Khadga Devi.

DAY 06 : BANDIPUR / POKHARA (80 km / 4h)

Pokhara, an enchanting city with several beautiful lakes and its panoramic view of the Himalayan peaks. Free time for the rest of the day.

DAY 07 : POKHARA

Morning excursion to Sarangkot with sunrise over the Himalayas. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Pokhara, then "Devis fall", waterfall and Gupteshwor Gupha, a 3 km long sacred cave which has special value for Hindus. Then the Old Bazaar, the Bindyabasini Mandir shrine and the Bindyabasini Temple.

DAY 08 : POKHARA - KATHMANDU - BHAKTAPUR (210 km / 6 to 7 h).

Lunch in a local restaurant on the road to Kathmandu.

DAY 09 : BHAKTAPUR - DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU (airport)

Morning transfer for a guided tour of Bhaktapur's Durbar Square (1754) and the National Art Gallery at Sunko Dhoka Golden Gate. Free time for shopping. Transfer on time to the international airport.
